English Language Ministries
All are welcome, but ministry meetings and events are conducted in English
The St. George Council of Catholic Women is open to all women of the parish. They meet quarterly to discuss the incoming events and supervise the parish kitchen remaining clean and tidy. The Council of Catholic Women oversees all receptions taking place at St. George, including the Parish Picnic, the Easter Vigil, First Communion, and Confirmation.
Divine Mercy & Holy Face Ministry
The Divine Mercy Ministry /Holy Face puts mercy into action through the spiritual work of praying for the living and the dead. Our mission is intercessory prayer centered on the Passion of Christ, Holy Scripture, the teaching of our Catholic faith, and the Diary of St. Faustina Kowalska. They meet every Tuesday at 10am-11am in the Parish Hall & Friday at 3:00pm-4:00pm in the Chapel and host events including Divine Mercy Sunday Service and the Patriotic Rosary Rally.
This ministry brings the Blessed Sacrament to those at home, in the hospital, or in nursing homes, while providing comfort and companionship to these people who are sure to become your newest friends. A brief training session is required for all new members, each of whom will assist a current member until they are comfortable going on their own. They serve the homebound once or twice a week.
The mission of this ministry is to put into action the motto of our parish, “Jesus Invites, St. George Welcomes.” The goal of the Hospitality Ministry is to be like the hand of Jesus by making all who enter feel welcome and a part of our church family. We encourage everyone to remain after Mass on Sundays to enjoy fellowship, along with coffee, juice, and donuts, provided by the ministry.
Open to all men of the parish, this group helps with social functions at the church and supports charitable causes in the community. The Knights run the Lenten Meals on all Fridays during Lent and the Breakfast every second Sunday of the month after the 8:00am and 10:00am Masses. Officers meet on the second Tuesday of each month, followed by a business meeting on the third Tuesday and a family social.
The Mercy Meals ministry provides meals for family and friends after funerals held at the parish. Members are asked to simply prepare a dish of food and deliver it to the church when necessary. Members who are willing and able to help serve and clean up after funerals are welcome to do so. The fellowship and comfort this simple meal provide is very much appreciated by grieving families and friends.
Founded in Dublin in 1921, this worldwide Catholic ministry fosters spiritual growth by encouraging members to model Mary in daily life, promote devotion to her through the daily Rosary, and conduct apostolic works. Active members meet every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall basement classroom. Meetings begin with the Rosary and spiritual reading, followed by discussion of visits to the hospital and homebound sick members of the parish. Auxiliary members pledge to pray for one Rosary and a few additional prayers each day, lending spiritual support to the ministry’s work.
They currently run the Religious Store. Members are scheduled to man the store after each mass on weekends. They provide coloring materials for the children during mass. They also help other ministries with grants.
Dedicated to promoting the sanctity of life from conception to natural death, the Respect Life Ministry raises funds for the Catholic-based Hapeville Advice & Aid Problem Pregnancy Center. They also distribute pro-life education materials to parishioners.
This ministry helps keep the priest vestments clean, the altar linens washed and ironed. Click here for more information.
Members of this ministry visit and minister to those in need. Meetings are the second and fourth Mondays, rotating between St. George and St. Mary Magdalene. St. Vincent de Paul members help in the food pantry, take messages, do computer entry, and help with fundraising. St. Vincent de Paul assists with Thanksgiving Baskets.

Adoración
We need volunteers to keep company with the Blessed Sacrament for one hour every Friday during adoration, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This is a ministry for married men, widowers, or engaged men who wish to live out their Catholic faith.

Grupo de Oración El Sembrador
Our primary mission is evangelization through the power of the Holy Spirit. We seek to promote and foster the “Pentecost” experience as the ongoing grace of the Holy Spirit that renews, restores, enlivens, and transforms the lives of all people.

Hospitalidad
The goal of this ministry is to be like the hand of Jesus, making everyone who enters feel welcome and part of our church family. We encourage everyone to stay after Mass to enjoy some time together over coffee, juice, and donuts, provided by the ministry.

Ministerio de Santa Marta
This ministry is responsible for keeping the church clean and for washing and ironing the altar servers' vestments.

Ministerio de la Tienda Religiosa
They currently manage the religious store. Members are assigned a shift to staff the store after each Mass on weekends. They provide coloring materials for the children during Mass. In addition, they assist other ministries with grants.

Rosario Dominical
The goal is to lead the recitation of the Holy Rosary before Mass every Sunday. A schedule will be created for the rotation.

San Vincente de Paúl
The members of this group visit and assist people in need. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, alternating between St. George and St. Mary Magdalene. Members of St. Vincent de Paul volunteer at the food bank, run errands, enter data into the computer, and help with fundraising. St. Vincent de Paul contributes to the Thanksgiving food baskets.

Virgen Peregrina
The Pilgrim Virgin of the Family is a network of Catholic families united by the desire to live out and share the Gospel; it promotes devotion to the Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe, primarily through praying the Holy Rosary as a family to pray for the Church, the Pope, and religious vocations.
