Building the Future
If the Lord does not build the house, in vain do the builders labor! Ps. 127:1
We are very excited about kicking off our Building the Future campaign and we are happy you are going to be a part of it. The first Mass was celebrated in Coweta County in 1938 with only a handful of families present. Their vision, fidelity and generosity led to the building of our church in 1969 and initiated an ongoing presence of the Catholic faith in our community. Almost 80 years later, we have a big and thriving Catholic population which continues to grow. Emulating the sacrifices and selflessness of our founding families, we too, have the responsibility of embracing the task to continue preparing and building the future. Since the basement of the current rectory is a health hazard and we need room to expand our faith formation programs, Building the Future campaign is our response.
Why should I be a part of this capital campaign?
Because others built for me, so I also have the responsibility to build for the future.
Because the priests who serve us need to live in a healthier house.
Because as the parish grows, we need more meeting and classroom space.
Because I love Christ and His Church.
Prayerfully consider making a donation. The goal for this campaign is $600,000.00. No donation is too small and every contribution will bring us closer to realizing the project. For more information, contact Mer in the parish office at 770.251.5353.
